Swimming Video with just 15 views Goes Global




A MUSIC student at Leicester University who used his mobile phone to film a video of his brothers messing about has sold the rights of the clip to a company who will put it to use in a worldwide TV advertisement.


Harry Hall made the underwater video for his father, and uploaded it to the internet more than half a year ago without ever really intending for anyone other than his friends and family to watch it.


Then, out of the blue, Mr Hall received an email from Radical Media – an award-winning, global advertisement-producing company – three weeks ago.

Despite the fact his video – which was filmed in a swimming pool – had only received 15 views, Radical Media asked if they could use some of Mr Hall’s 79-second film for use in the next Vodafone advert.
